Published Apr 29, 2020Marilyn Manson's new album is not only finished but its also a "masterpiece," according to collaborator Shooter Jennings.
Jennings took to Instagram earlier today to express his excitement for the new record, writing that he's "just waiting" for it to be released while posing with a framed copy of Manson's Rolling Stone cover.
While no official details regarding the new work have surfaced, Manson himself confirmed Jennings's comments from his own social media account.
"Love my Shooter, Misty & Pancake," the artist wrote in Jennings's comment section. "Finished masterpiece album. And Matt Mahurin. Shit is gonna get real."
The mystery masterpiece will mark Manson's follow-up to 2017's Heaven Upside Down. The artist was scheduled to head out on a North American tour in support of Ozzy Osbourne next month, with multiple stops in Canada. The tour was postponed earlier this year due to Osbourne's ongoing health struggles.
