Published Jul 06, 2010Since his release of Inland back in January, Montreal singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk has been touring throughout the UK, France, Ireland, Eastern Canada and the U.S. We now know his next stops will include a jaunt in Western Canada.
The summer tour marks Vollebekk's first set of dates in country's western half since the album's release, with the Montrealer lining up Canadian stops in such cities as Winnipeg, Vancouver and Edmonton. He also will brave the border and travel south for U.S. shows in Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Vollebekk will be touring for the rest of the year and is expected to return to the West coast again in the fall. He will also be teaming up with producer Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire) at Hotel2Tango in Montreal to create a second album, which is said to be set for a 2011 release.
