Published Jan 18, 2021MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden is back with more coronavirus-inspired music to tide us over into the 11th month of the pandemic, and he's here to commiserate about missing the club scene.
Using his Gentle Dom moniker, the producer has shared "I Miss Dancing in New York," a groovy dance track, which is, as he puts it, "only for people that like having fun."
The new single marks VanWyngarden's follow up to his Fanta Se EP, which arrived last November. Earlier in the year, the artist joined the rest of MGMT on the Avalanches' newest album We Will Always Love You, as well as Soccer Mommy's singles series for a remix of her song, "circle the drain."
